Super Bowl LXI

Los Angeles

Super Bowl LXI at SoFi Stadium.
Los Angeles, February 14, 2027.

The Super Bowl returns to SoFi Stadium on Sunday, February 14, 2027 — the second time Inglewood hosts in five years. Last time, the FAA expected up to 1,100 additional private flights and put nine Los Angeles-area airports on a reservation system. That is the week you are flying into. We arrange — you fly.

The Super Bowl Comes Back to Inglewood

SoFi Stadium hosted its first Super Bowl in 2022, and Los Angeles absorbed the largest private-aviation surge in the event’s history: nine airports on an FAA reservation system, arrival slots issued by the hour, and a game-day flight restriction over the stadium. Expect the same machinery in 2027, published closer to the date.

Kickoff time and ticket on-sale dates are still to be announced. What is already fixed is the geography: Inglewood sits five miles from LAX and under three from Hawthorne Municipal — the right small airport puts you closer to the stadium than most hotel guests will be.

One Kickoff, One Departure Queue

Arrivals spread across four or five days. Departures do not. At the 2022 game the FAA’s departure surge ran from Sunday night into Monday, and airports pushed drop-and-go handling over overnight parking to keep aircraft moving. Everyone who stays for the confetti wants wheels-up inside the same six hours.

Two ways around it: take a Monday departure and spend the extra night somewhere better than an airport hotel, or let us position the aircraft at an outer field and drive twenty extra minutes instead of holding for a slot. Both beat the queue.

Why Fly Private to Super Bowl LXI

Arrivals build all week. Departures happen in one night.

Built for the Group Trip This Is

Super Bowl trips rarely travel as a pair — it is clients, partners, family, a suite’s worth of people moving on one schedule. One aircraft, one departure time, and nobody herding a group through LAX on the busiest sports weekend on the calendar.

Every Operator Vetted First

Every operator we use is cleared through ARGUS TripCheq and Wyvern before the trip is priced. No membership fees, all-inclusive quotes. You pay for the flight, not the privilege of asking about one.

Closer to Kickoff Than the Team Hotels

Hawthorne Municipal sits under three miles from SoFi Stadium. Land there and you can be at the stadium perimeter before an LAX arrival has cleared the terminal loop. On game day that distance is the whole argument.

Where to Stay for Game Week

Inglewood itself has no luxury inventory worth the week — the play is Beverly Hills, the Santa Monica coast, or the marina, all thirty to forty minutes from the stadium outside game-day traffic. Book earlier than feels reasonable: the last Los Angeles Super Bowl sold out the city’s top floors months ahead.

The Peninsula Beverly Hills and the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills are the classic Super Bowl command posts, with house cars and staff who have worked an event week before. Shutters on the Beach puts you on the sand in Santa Monica.

The quiet pick is The Ritz-Carlton, Marina del Rey — fifteen minutes up Lincoln Boulevard from SoFi, marina-side, and usually the last of the four to fill.

Tickets, Suites and Super Bowl Week

Super Bowl seats are allocated, not sold at a window — most reach the market through the league’s official hospitality programs or resale. On-sale dates for LXI are not yet published; hospitality packages have historically opened roughly a year out.

On Location is the NFL’s official hospitality partner and the one source of guaranteed seat locations with pre-game field access. SoFi Stadium publishes event-day logistics, parking and bag policy as the game approaches. If your seats come with obligations — suite hosting, sponsor events — tell us, and the flying gets planned around them.

Where to Eat in Los Angeles

The town’s best rooms treat Super Bowl week like awards season: tables go to whoever books first. The spread runs from three Michelin stars to a breakfast counter that closes at 2 p.m. — book the former, queue at the latter.

At the top, Providence holds three Michelin stars on Melrose Avenue, and Holbox — the starred seafood counter inside Mercado La Paloma — is the hardest casual seat in town.

Around the stadium, Inglewood eats better than visitors expect. Coni’Seafood is a Michelin-listed Nayarit seafood room on Imperial Highway, The Serving Spoon has run its Centinela Avenue breakfast counter for more than thirty-five years, Dulan’s Soul Food Kitchen anchors Manchester Boulevard, and Randy’s Donuts — the giant donut you will spot on approach — is the correct first stop out of Hawthorne.

THE AIRPORTS PEAK USES

Los Angeles offers more private-aviation capacity than any Super Bowl host city — and still filled it last time. Expect game-week reservations and prior-permission procedures at the close-in fields, on the pattern the FAA ran in 2022, with 2027 specifics published nearer the date.

Hawthorne (HHR) — Jack Northrop Field, under three miles from SoFi Stadium. Jet Center LA handles on the field, and at the last Super Bowl arrivals and departures ran on hourly slots. The closest field to kickoff — request it first, and early.

Van Nuys (VNY) — The country’s busiest business-aviation airport, with an 8,001-foot runway and every major FBO name. About forty-five minutes north of the stadium in normal traffic; it extended operating hours for the 2022 game.

Hollywood Burbank (BUR) — The right call for a Hollywood or Valley stay, with full FBO handling and heavy-jet capability. Allow close to an hour to Inglewood on event days.

Long Beach (LGB) — South of the stadium, around thirty minutes up the 405, with generous aircraft parking by Los Angeles standards and a noise ordinance worth planning departures around.

Los Angeles International (LAX) — Five miles out, with dedicated FBO handling away from the terminals. Airline volume makes it a deliberate choice — usually for airliner-size group charters — rather than a default.

With access to 5,000+ airports across the US and Canada, we position you wherever the rest of your trip makes sense.

Game Week Charter Questions, Answered

Hawthorne Municipal (HHR), also called Jack Northrop Field, sits under three miles from SoFi Stadium — about ten minutes door to door. Van Nuys, Hollywood Burbank, Long Beach and LAX all work as alternatives depending on where you are staying, and we position aircraft across all of them.

Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Kickoff time has not been announced yet. It is the second Super Bowl at SoFi, which last hosted the game in 2022.

Eight to twelve weeks covers the aircraft itself; the real constraint is airport access. At the last Los Angeles Super Bowl the FAA ran a reservation system across nine airports and the close-in slots went first, so the earlier we can request arrival and departure times, the better your options.

Yes, and on game day it is often the smart play. A drop-and-go — the aircraft lands, unloads and repositions to an outer field — avoids overnight parking at the busiest airports. A temporary flight restriction closes the airspace around the stadium during the game itself, and we plan arrivals and departures around it.

Occasionally, but Super Bowl demand is one-directional — everyone flies in before Sunday and out straight after the game — so genuine empty legs on the right dates are rare. Tell us your dates and we will flag anything real rather than promise a discount that is unlikely to materialize.

Historically, yes. For the 2022 game the FAA ran arrival and departure reservations across nine Los Angeles-area airports, with prior permission required at the busiest fields. Expect equivalent procedures for 2027, published closer to the date. We handle that paperwork as part of the trip.

Jeff and I have booked all our private flights to and from Montana with Peak Aviation Solutions. He is wonderful to work with and accommodates our plans even when we have had to change them on short notice. Everything feels very professional and safe. Planes and pilots are have been great. We have looked at other booking possibilities and they have been more expensive and not as willing to work around our schedules. Thank you, for flying us safely. We love working with someone who is very capable and local!
