Choosing private aviation raises fair questions — about how chartering actually works, who is arranging the trip, and what sets one broker apart from the next.
The answers below cover how Peak operates, what flying privately costs and saves, and the practical details — from safety vetting to bringing the dog.

Peak Aviation Solutions is a pilot-founded private jet charter broker based in Bozeman, Montana. We specialize in the Mountain West — Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, and Utah — and arrange flights to destinations throughout the United States and Canada.

Peak is a broker, and that works in your favor. Rather than selling seats on one fixed fleet, we source the right aircraft for each trip from a vetted network of aircraft — turboprop through airliner — reaching 5,000+ airports across the US and Canada  — matched to your route and party size, not to whatever happens to be parked nearby.

No. No membership fees, no annual dues, and no initiation costs. Pricing is all-inclusive — fuel, repositioning, and taxi time are covered — with no Peak Day surcharges or dynamic pricing. De-icing, when required, is billed at actual cost after the flight.

Most trips are booked with some notice, but we’re built for last-minute changes. When plans shift, we move fast to source the right aircraft and lock the details — so the aircraft is ready when you are.

Every trip is operated exclusively by ARGUS- or Wyvern-certified operators and must pass an ARGUS TripCheq or Wyvern safety assessment before departure. Pilot qualifications, maintenance records, and operational history are reviewed on every flight — not just the first one.

Pricing is all-inclusive, with no hidden fees, membership dues, Peak Day surcharges, or added charges for fuel or repositioning. De-icing, if applicable, is billed at actual cost after the flight.

We send a vetted empty-leg list by email three times a week. Beyond direct routes to and from your chosen airports, we include flights within a 250-mile radius of your origin and destination — so if you have selected Van Nuys (VNY), you will also see options from LAX, Burbank (BUR), and Long Beach (LGB). We can ask the operator to adjust routing to your preferred airports, then compare pricing to find the most cost-effective option.

Private aviation skips layovers, delays, and security lines, operates on your schedule, and lands closer to your destination by using thousands of regional airports the airlines do not serve. In the Mountain West, that often means flying into the airport nearest the slopes, the ranch, or the meeting — not the hub three hours away.

The upfront cost is higher, but private travel can lower the true cost of a trip by eliminating overnight hotel stays, lost productivity, and last-minute change fees. With several colleagues aboard, the time-and-cost math often tips decisively toward flying private.

Complete privacy, personalized service, and a cabin with no strangers in it. The experience is yours to define — work without interruption, hold a meeting at altitude, or simply rest.

Yes. Private aircraft can use more than 5,000 airports across the U.S., compared with roughly 500 served by the airlines — putting departures and arrivals closer to where you actually start and finish, with far fewer congested hubs.

Private travel limits exposure to crowds and high-touch terminals, aircraft are cleaned to your protocols, and direct routing means faster access to care in a medical situation.

Productive cabins, flexible itineraries that can cover several cities in a day, and private terminals that let you arrive minutes before departure and skip baggage claim. The result is more time with clients and less time in transit.

Yes. Custom itineraries, catering, pet-friendly cabins, and concierge support are standard. Flight plans, guest lists, and onboard preferences are arranged around each traveler.

The industry is adopting Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), expanding access to carbon-offset programs, and introducing electric and hybrid aircraft. We can help arrange SAF or offsets on request.
