Most light jets seat 4 to 8. Six adults travel comfortably in club seating; seven or eight works for shorter legs. The Phenom 300e we feature typically flies with six to eight in the cabin. Past that, with baggage in the picture, a mid-size cabin is the honest recommendation.
How far can a light jet fly nonstop?
Typical light jets cover 1,100 to 2,000 nautical miles. The Phenom 300e sits at the top of that band, which makes two-to-three-hour legs the sweet spot: Bozeman to the West Coast, Dallas to either coast, New York to Florida. Longer than that and a fuel stop or a bigger aircraft starts to win.
