Are turboprops much slower than jets?
Slower on paper, closer in practice. A King Air 350 cruises past 300 knots, and on legs under about 500 nautical miles the door-to-door difference against a light jet is usually minutes, because turboprops can use the small field closest to where you are actually going.
What does a turboprop charter cost?
